The meadow and the mountain
Nanga Parbat fills the end of the view and does not share it.
The walk to Fairy Meadows is the point of going: a path, a camp, and enough hours to watch the face of Nanga Parbat change. The mountain is not a backdrop you collect on the way to somewhere else.
Come for that wall of snow and rock, and stay long enough that it becomes weather rather than a picture.
